Los Angeles, CA – Vivek Dedeux, a 34
year-old computer programmer working for Murdoch Entertainment, filed a lawsuit
seeking $184 in punitive damages from co-worker Ike Barman. In court papers filed Thursday, Barman is
alleged to have steadfastly refused to pronounce Dedeux’s name properly, thereby
causing humiliation to Dedeux.
Dedeux’s
lawyer, Filberto D. Pujols, appeared on CNN’s Larry King Live and provided
surveillance videotape showing Barman addressing Dedeux as “doo-doo”. When Dedeux objected to Barman, snickering
could be heard coming from co-workers who were not visible on the videotape.
