France And Germany Announce Surprise Agreement

Vichy, France – French Prime Minister Jacques Chirac and German Chancellor Gerhardt Schroeder held a joint press conference to announce that Germany and France have agreed to merge into one nation.  On Wednesday, Schroeder sent 120,000 negotiators to Paris to work out an agreement with the French government.  The new nation will be known as Germany and its government will be headquartered in Berlin.
