Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso – A Peace Corps
volunteer, working in the African nation of Burkina Faso has reportedly stumbled
upon a video camera that is believed to have belonged to missing hunters Joseph
Rockefeller and D’Wain Jefferies.
Rockefeller and Jeffries have been missing since 1993, after their local
safari guide returned alone to Ouagadougou, telling a fantastic tale of being
attacked by a large beast. The guide
was convicted of murdering the two hunters and is serving a life term in
prison. Technicians at Phoenix Laboratories
in Cape Town, South Africa were able to recover poor-quality images and sound from
the film that was found in the camera. The
film can be viewed on the worldwide web at this site: www.phonix_labs.sa.
